It is more or less a flat part of the region, except for a longer but very gentle rise to Großkögeln. However, you will be "compensated" by some local wine pubs (most of them open at 4pm, but it can vary) and stunning clear views, provided there is fair weather. As a whole, the tour is characterised by forests and vineyards; a short trip into adjacent Burgenland; via Grieselstein the route leads back to Thermae Loipersdorf Spa starting point; however, if you stay at the mountain ridge, it is a shorter route back to the thermae.
